Questions, bugs, and beta invites all go to one place:
support@northarc.co. A real person reads it.
Please say which iPhone and iOS version you are on, and what you expected to happen.
How to play
Spot a license plate in the physical world. Open the app, find that state, province or
country on the board, and tap it. Your progress bar fills as the day goes on and the board
resets at midnight in your own time zone.
There is nothing to find inside the app itself. The plates are out on the road.
Common questions
My streak disappeared.
A streak needs at least one plate found each day. It resets at local midnight, so a
day with nothing marked ends it. Time-zone changes while travelling are handled, but if a
streak vanished after a flight, write in and include the dates.
Can I change regions without losing my progress?
Yes. Each region keeps its own board and its own history, so switching between the
United States, Canada and the EU never overwrites the others.
What are “other US plates”?
Plates not issued by a state or DC: Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, the US Virgin
Islands, the Northern Mariana Islands, diplomatic and US government plates. There is a
toggle in settings to include them on the board.
Do I have to turn on location?
No. The game works fully without it. Location is only used to drop a pin where you
spotted a plate so your history has a map, and it is only read while the app is open.
Will my finds move to a new iPhone?
Today's board syncs through your own iCloud account, so a new device signed into the
same Apple Account picks it up. Full history transfers with a device migration or backup.
How do I get into the beta?
Email support@northarc.co and ask. The app is
distributed through TestFlight while multiplayer is finished.
How do I delete my data?
Deleting the app removes everything stored on the device. See
the privacy page for what lives in iCloud and how to
clear it.
Reporting a bug
The useful details: what you tapped, what happened, what you expected, the region you were
playing, and your iOS version. Screenshots help more than descriptions.
